Deputy prime minister-minister of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva held a meeting on the establishment of the University of Culture and Arts in Shymkent. This project will be implemented within the framework of the instructions of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Ministry of Culture and information and the akimat of Shymkent during his working visit to the metropolis. The meeting was attended by akim of Shymkent Gabit Syzdykbekov, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local executive bodies, contractors, as well as AK, M. The leadership of the Euezov Ontustik Kazakh research university took part. During the meeting, Aida Balayeva heard the reports of the participants on the implementation of a large-scale project. The place of Higher Education will be established on the basis of the Faculty of Culture and art of the Ontustik Kazakh research university named after M. Euezov. According to the plan, 6 faculties, 17 departments and 46 educational programs for Bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies will operate at the University.
